DF: Defrost mode
Shown as "df" or "C8" depending on the model. Normal in heat mode.
What to do
- 1No action needed. The unit melts ice on the outdoor coil and resumes heating on its own, within 2 to 10 minutes.
- 2The fan stops or runs very low during defrost so it does not blow cold air.
